| Reviews For Crazy Thoughts Of An Online Romance
"It used to be so simple: you meet someone, you date them, you get to know
each other, and over time you fall in love. But in today's cyber world, you
can find your soul mate and never even see them face-to-face. Can that
possibly be true love?
In Crazy Thoughts of an Online Romance, Epstein LaRue's characters not only encounter love online style, but they have to overcome great obstacles to make their relationships work. Is their love strong enough to surpass Internet fraud, age differences, deaths, extended families and long distances? All is fair in love and war, and Ms. LaRue dishes up a fair amount of both that will have you rooting for the lovers, one real and one virtual." Janet Elaine Smith, author of 15 different books! Find more fun, facts, and fiction HERE! *** Psychiatric nurse, Kaitlyn Malloy is very proud of her work and her self-imposed ethics. But trouble starts when she finds herself becoming more and more attracted to Lance Rosenthal, the son of one of her patients. Should she reconcile herself to the fact that he is out of bounds? Or should she give in to her heart? What would happen if Mrs. Rosenthal was discharged, should she give in to her feelings? What if she was re-admitted, what would happen other relationship then? A short book, Crazy Thoughts of Passion is big on characters and ideas, it's almost as if you are facing the dilemmas with Kaitlyn and wondering what you would do in that same situation. An easy read, the book's pages seem to turn themselves. Although billed as a traditional romance book, it is more
than that, a book that explores ethics, feelings and romance and the effects
decisions made have on other people. A must for any romance fan.

Medical personnel have a complex code of ethics governing their behavior with a patient. This code spills over to patients’ families. When Kaitlyn finds herself attracted to the handsome son of one of her patients, She must deal with not only treating her patient correctly but with all the complications this puts on her personal life. Even though the object of Kaitlyn’s crazy thoughts of passion, Lance, is not governed by those same ethics, he has a different dilemma. He must deal with his own conflicting emotions. He must balance the need for Kaitlyn with the feelings of inadequacy towards helping his aging mother. Ms. LaRue’s own experience as a nurse lends an aura of
realism to this poignant romance. You will fall in love right along with these
two wonderful people who must first deal with modern life before they can
indulge their "Crazy Thoughts of Passion."

Ghostly Getaways *** Kaitlyn didn't need anyone questioning her nursing ethics. And she certainly didn't need Lance Rosanthol complicating her life. But why did crazy thoughts of passion keep running through her mind every time she looked at him? Epstein LaRue has created an intriguing look at nursing, ethics and romance in..... Crazy Thoughts of Passion. It is a great read. Reviewed by Kristie Leigh Maguire *** When Gladys Rosanthol enters the Madison Psychiatric Hospital’s Acute Geriatric-Psychiatric Unit and promptly has another manic behavior episode, nurse Kaitlyn Malloy must explain his now sedated mother’s condition to her worried and guilt-ridden adult son. That’s not a promising start for Kaitlyn’s relationship with Lance Rosanthol, as his mother’s nurse or as — wait a minute. No matter how attractive Kaitlyn may find Lance, being his mother’s nurse precludes any other relationship between them. Doesn’t it? So Kaitlyn’s professional ethics tell her, and she’s a woman who takes her profession and its ethics seriously. Yet seeing Lance Rosanthol never fails to put certain thoughts into her head — "crazy thoughts of passion" that refuse to go away. And as she cares for his mother, of course she can’t avoid seeing this man! This light romance with serious ethical undertones is an easy read, and its behind-the-scenes look at the trials and rewards of psychiatric nursing provides added interest. My one problem with the story was that as the adult daughter of a now deceased geriatric psychiatric patient, I found it hard to stay with the nurse-protagonist's viewpoint during the tale's more poignant moments. I doubt that most other readers will share this difficulty, though. Should do well with contemporary romance fans! Nina M. Osier, author of "Love, Jimmy: A Maine Veteran’s Longest Battle" *** Love At First Type is a fascinating glimpse into the world of
the internet and online chat rooms - where anything is possible, even finding a
soul mate and true love in a virtual reality coffee shop. Epstein LaRue tells
the story of "Sassy" meeting "Repairman" and how their online relationship
developed into love; how they overcame the obstacles of 24 years difference in
ages, being 1000 miles apart - and married to the wrong people. Love At First
Type is a story that tugs at your heart strings and makes you a true believer of
romance - and that soul mates will find each other no matter what. I could not
put this book down. I had to keep reading to see what happened next to "Sassy"
and "Repairmen." I highly recommend it to anyone who has ever thought about
having an online relationship.
Kristie Leigh Maguire, author of "Emails From The Edge" (The Life

off your feet romance novel. Two opposites become instantly attracted while
visiting an online chat room. A bond that neither can deny becomes the catalyst
for a love story that goes beyond all reasoning. Epstein LaRue spins a tale that
will capture the reader in the first sentence and will keep them spell bound til
the end. Kim
